Life can be challenging sometimes! One can experience a multitude of challenges such as life changes, anxiety, stress, depression or the loss of a loved one. Are you feeling overwhelmed? You don’t have to do this alone. My work focuses on utilizing a strengths-based approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. As part of my practice, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental and empathic environment where the base of help is genuine and compassionate.
I attended Wayne State University where I received my master’s and bachelor’s degree in social work. I have a lot of experience working with adolescents and adults in a psychiatric setting. I worked with clients that struggled with depression, anxiety, grief, life changes as well as trauma. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
